Tony Robinson was born in Portland, Maine, raised in Boston, and was educated at the University of California at Berkeley (BA) and the University of North Texas (MS). He has written and edited literature, non-fiction and technical/academic publications, and is principal editor at Beacon Editorial. His work has been published by Routledge-Taylor & Francis, The Louisiana Review, Ekstasis, The Association of Energy Engineers, Tech Connect World, The New Yorker, and elsewhere. He taught Graduate Seminars in Environmental Sustainability at Southern Methodist University (2011-2021) and has served widely as a guest lecturer on Resource Efficiency and High-Performance Buildings. He reads literature in public frequently.
